Waited 03:48
I've waited for so long I've waited for so long I've waited for so long for you Reach out for you wherever you are No matter where, no matter how And all the truths And all the stories And all the tears Will fade away I've waited for so long for you I've waited for so long for you Oh how long Oh how long I've waited for so long I've waited for so long for you Let me remember Let me get to know you Let me start everything anew Let me hear you Let me go crazy I reach out for you Let me go home I've waited for so long I've waited for so long I've waited for so long for you And I've grown sick of it And I've grown tired And although it's a long way to go I'm strong enough to travel on my own On my own On my own On my own I'm strong

I'm Weak 04:51
I'm weak I'm crushed I'm hit I'm down I'm weak I'm weak and I'm sick of it I'm crushed and I hate to recover I'm hit - what if I ever returned the favor? But i'm weak and I'm down What if there was god? Would he listen to what I've to say I have a lot If there was god I would tell him What being sick is like And I run From you As far away from you as I can ever get Just pushing you away But will I ever learn to live with it Why am I so weak Why can’t I let go Why am I so sad Will there be an end ...and I'm sick of it I'm crushed and I hate to recover I'm hit - what if I ever returned the favor? But i'm weak and I'm down What if there was god? Would he listen to what I've to say I have a lot If there was god I would tell him What being sick is like I'm weak I'm crushed I'm hit I'm down I'm weak I'm weak

Little Bird 04:29
A little bird got sick and died Waiting for you with me I'm not sure if I'm not gonna follow I'm not sure if I remember your face But I remember your back When you turned and walked away I held my breath Counted all of your steps Till this rainy morning swallowed you whole Day by day I fed this bird The same bullshit hope I lived for That some day You will return Although I know you're not coming back I am the ground Burning behind your back I am the land Wasted by war that you carried through I am The orphaned children, the widowed wives I am the land Burning right where you left your steps I am undone I am misplaced Just a mark on a map A drop in the rain My name is pain This heartache I can't wash away This heartache I can't run away from This heartache I can't wash away I am a soldier's wife I am a soldier's mother I am a soldier Waiting to die alone Away from home Away from you But this prison's forever my home A little bird got sick and died Waiting for you with me I'm not sure if I'm not gonna follow I'm not sure if I remember your face But I remember your back

Worldwide 04:24
Hello hello come gather round Birds of all kinds come listen closely I've grown so weak so I'll sing quietly But quiet's enough, isn't it I'd give away my life for one glimpse of hope But since I can not I give myself to this song Let it start quiet and grow into a hymn Of everybody lost in despair Fly, song of longing Fly away, grow stronger Let every voice join you Let there be thousands Thousands Let the whole world sing with you till the walls shudder Hello hello you little bastards Pay some attention to my words while I'm here I'm dying, slowly fading away Look in my half-dead eyes, ain't I sexy? I hereby deny existence of hope I almost forgot what's like to be not alone I only wish that my song lives on O solitude To you I sing My last song Let my last breath become A storm, a hurricane, a doomsday calling A wake-up call for every lonely soul Stand up and sing with me this song of longing And carry on without me when I'm gone I want this song to fly Farther than any of you ever flew I want it worldwide For every skin color, in every language Please carry it far away Cause if it isn't you then Who's gonna tell my story when I die alone Who's gonna sing my song If it's not you If it's not you If it's not you

Evergreen 03:33

about

You definitely know all those myths and classical works but what you remember is usually rough approximations, simplifications, plot sketches. You must remember, if only slightly, what was up with Romeo and Juliet. Macbeth. Hamlet. Jesus Christ. Noah. Cain and Abel. Pygmalion. Orpheus and Eurydice. Osiris and Isis. That myth about Calypso must have been in one of your kids books, definitely. Anyway, how about I recite it briefly.

So, Calypso was banished to her gods-forsaken island where she stayed for a really, really long time all alone before Odysseus ended up there by some misfortune - and misfortunes he was really fond of getting into. And when he finally did end up there she kept him there with her for seven years. But Odysseus was homesick, he was all about getting back to Ithaca to his wife and all that royal stuff of his. So eventually Calypso let him go and stayed behind, alone, for all the time to come. Until she finally died. Though she probably didn't die in that kids book. Now where's the fun in that.

But all this is irrelevant. Because now we're going to throw Odysseus away from this story. And all names. And the island. And Greece and Ithaca. And time frames. Let's exclude even gender pronouns.

And let's take Calypso's story right where she let Odysseus go and stayed on her damn island, all alone, forever.

This is an abstract 21-minute long lovesong. It starts with this bittersweet sadness of having just let go, and ends where Calypso herself ends. The last track had a working title "Requiem" some years ago, but it's not a requiem, it never was. Because after descending step by step into utter darkness of despair, when Calypso finally dies, the sea still splashes and the sun still shines. And the world around is still alive, and it goes on, and Calypso's story doesn't end there, it becomes a myth.

And myths should live on.

Hi there, we make music (surprise surprise). It's mostly acoustic, mostly piano based, and thoroughly gloomy. Sometimes it's just me, sometimes a duo, sometimes a trio. You get the idea.
